It reduces the microbial load of wounds and helps to create a moist environment in the wound, thus allowing the body to develop its own healing process. The active substances in Veterinol are oxygen and hypochlorous acid. hypochlorous acid is one of the main components used by the immune system of animals to eliminate pathogens (bacteria, viruses, micromycetes).

 

Veterinol also removes odor very efficiently.

 

Most common uses of Veterinol by veterinarians:

- small wounds, erosions and scratches

- wounds of various etiology

- skin inflammations of various etiology

- chronic and non-healing wounds

- infected wounds, abscesses

- burns (all degrees)

- treatment of hoof and hoof /claw rot

- disinfection of the umbilical stump

- disinfection of the area before injection

- skin disinfection before surgery (with or without the use of other disinfectants)

- ear cleaning (can be used simultaneously with otological products, safe in case of eardrum rupture)

- eye cleaning (eye wash, bacterial infection, viral infection - e.g. herpes virus in cats)

- oral cavity toilet (treatment for stomatitis, gingivitis, injuries in the oral cavity and around the lips, sore throat)

- in the abdominal cavity perioperatively (e.g. with a pyometra for disinfection of the uterine stump)

- bladder irrigation for cystitis or urinary stones

- postoperative wound care

- irrigation of uterine contents in pyometra

- udder disinfection before milking

 

Veterinol contents: Active chlorine: acid mixture, hypochloric acid and sodium hypochlorite (<0.06%), lithium magnesium sodium silicate, chlorine dioxide, sodium chloride, aqua
